The U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid provides billions in grants, loans, and work-study funds to help pay for college. In order to apply for federal student aid (including loans), state and SVSU aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine student eligibility.
Educational loans are available to assist students/parents with educational costs. Loans must be repaid. Students should always file a FAFSA first to determine any federal loan eligibility. When that eligibility is exhausted, Federal Parent PLUS Loan's and alternative loans may be the next consideration. Please review the options available in this link.
