This was the greatest job we ever had playing. We played on the street in NYC- made lots of $$ and
had to take no orders!  We absolutely loved it! We got jobs and many celebrities stopped and listened
and threw in a few $$ in the box! This picture was in the New York Times. Now for the answer to the most asked question in my email!! How much did we make?? We played on the corner of 53rd and 5th in downtown Manhattan.  Our time was 12-2 everyday.  All the street musicians had different corners and times. We made between $80.00-$200.00 in those 2 hours. We never made less than $80.00. This was in the 1970's. There were musicians from Julliard, ManhattanSchool of Music, and MannesSchool of Music on every corner.  The MOST we ever made was during the Easter Parade on 5th Avenue. We played for an hour and a half and made $500.00!!  We played a party for Peter Jennings, and other celebrities who hired us.
