The Bay County Basketball Association is designed for those who
are not a member of a school team and still want to participate in the great
game of basketball. While most of the participants in the league are high
school graduates, males under the age of 18 can still register and play with
parent/guardian permission.
It is common for high school students who were not on their Varsity teams to form their own such team. In the past, the league has fielded teams from Wenona Alternative Education and numerous groups of Bay City Central football players who used basketball as a form of off-season conditioning.
